Adam's job description and the Levites' job description are the same two verbs. In the books of Moses, serve-and-guard together is what priests do at a sanctuary.

The way into Eden is guarded by cherubim. The way into the Most Holy is a veil — with cherubim woven in. Israel's priests served daily before Eden's last scene, stitched in thread.

Of all the stones Genesis could name in Eden's land, it names the one engraved with Israel's names on the priest's shoulders — and the gold everything in the sanctuary is covered with.

Water rising inside the holy place and flowing out to give life. Eden does it, Ezekiel's temple does it, and the city of Revelation 22 does it. Sanctuaries are headwaters.

The one other place the books of Moses run creation's four-beat ending is the raising of the tabernacle — and it ends with the glory moving in (Exodus 40:34). "This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell" (Psalm 132:14).
HONEST LIMITS
Matching words don't automatically mean a matching subject — a garden and a tent can share vocabulary because both are places of meeting, without Genesis intending a sanctuary. That is the fair objection, and it deserves saying plainly. Our answer is the count: root-pair, walking-form, guards, door, metals, river, ending — seven matches on one short chapter. (Count fairly: three of them meet in a single verse, Genesis 3:24.) At some point coincidence starts costing more than design — but count for yourself, with the spread open. Scholars who don't share our view of the end times (Walton, Beale) read Eden as sanctuary too — witnesses to the words, not to our conclusions.
