Why this matters

Let's be honest about what happens at the Bible's front door. A believing college student takes a geology class. A dad can't answer his daughter's question about dinosaurs. A pastor preaches Genesis 1 while privately holding a view he'd never say out loud. For more than a century, the church has treated this like a war between the Bible's first pages and the world's evident age. And every peace deal on offer makes somebody pay: bend the science, bend the text, or quietly stop reading Genesis at all.

People don't just lose an argument at that door. Some lose their footing altogether. Not because the Bible failed them — but because someone handed them a question about what kind of writing Genesis is and told them it was the gospel itself. Doubt one, they were told, and you've doubted the other.

This site exists because that trade is false. If Genesis 1–3 is what its own words suggest — the founding of a covenant world, told in the language of a temple — then the collision with science never happens. And not because we demoted the text. The opposite. The text turns out to be about something bigger than the furniture of the universe. It's the opening of the Bible's real story, the one that runs unbroken from a garden sanctuary to a Lamb: God coming to dwell with man.

That's why Jesus is the center of this site, not just its last chapter. He is the seed of the woman. The last Adam. The true temple. God tabernacling among us. A reading of Genesis that starts his story on page one isn't backing away from the Bible's authority. It's saying the Bible has been underestimated.
