The last stars of morning

This is the sky of Genesis 2 — sunrise; the stars are fading but not gone. Its first drawn figure is the River of Eden: one spring rising in the garden and parting into four heads, traced from Genesis 2:10 through the psalms and the prophets to the throne of Revelation 22.
